Created by a first Méndez generation in 1961, bakers by profession, Artesanos Méndez is a family run company, located in Andalusia, at a midpoint between Seville and Cordoba. The excellent results obtained in the production of bread and the increasing prestige gained for our products favored the evolution from simple local bakery to a leading company in the baking and pastry sector. Development was further expanded to the production of bread products, also incorporating bakery and chips lines. In 1985, the company took a new step forward by becoming a Corporation, and by the '90’s, we took on a major expansion of facilities.
In the early 2000 decade, a new need to expand our production capacity, together with the increase in demand for our products, led to the expansion into a new 3.500 m2 plant. This entailed a second extension of our production lines, incorporating the latest technologies in the sector. Currently, production facilities occupy 5.500 m2, with a total of 25.000 m2 for future development.
Currently managed by the Mendez brothers, the company has grown in recent years. The team has been strengthened by new professionals with high level of training, providing innovation and new dynamism to the company.
